Meet Dr. Ryan Langel
Born and raised on a fourth-generation family farm in Northwest Iowa, Dr. Ryan Langel knows the value of hard work, practical thinking, and building trust. Before becoming a restorative dentist, he earned his degree in Agriculture from Iowa State University and worked alongside his dad on the farm. He also ventured into livestock production, poured concrete through the family business, and invested in real estate, bringing with him a deep understanding of ownership, investment, and grit.
It wasn’t until sitting in the dental chair for a routine cleaning that Dr. Langel had the idea to pivot his entire career. After being accepted to dental school, Dr. Langel went on to complete his dental education at Creighton University School of Dentistry. After honing his skills in associate practice, he founded Express Dental Studio to do dentistry differently.
Dr. Langel started Express Dental Studio with a clear purpose: to practice dentistry well and to give people access to both needed and desired dental care—without the extreme prices often associated with high-end esthetic and restorative services. The practice is built around efficient, same-day care that prioritizes quality, transparency, and long-term value for patients.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association, holds a certification in dental implants, and has advanced training in digital dentistry, including 3D printing, milling, and patient management. His approach blends clinical precision with a business-minded perspective, allowing him to deliver high-level results while keeping care approachable and cost-conscious.
Patients appreciate Dr. Langel’s down-to-earth attitude, ability to explain treatment clearly, and no-nonsense approach to dentistry. He’s not just about fixing teeth. He’s about helping people feel more confident, and making sure quality care is never out of reach.
Outside the office, you can find Dr. Langel hiking, playing pickleball, spending time at the park with his kids, or cheering on his favorite teams. Family, community, and integrity drive everything he does, both at work and at home.
